Paying Homage to Their Ancestors

Never before was I so honored to be apart of a ceremony that was so thoughtful. This couple paid homage to their ancestors by holding their ceremony in Armstrong Park's Congo Square. Where, at one point, was the only place African Americans were allowed to get married. So to take it all the way to the end, the couple invited African Dancers & Drummers and Stilt walkers to participate in the ceremony. They also, had their reception at Eiffel Society and danced the night away! It was a great day had by all!
